WHEN IS GOOD BETTER THAN BEST? I’ve written this article almost a year ago. But I decided to write a sequel to it since the idea of the question is currently a resounding challenge for me. We all want to be the best, may it be at work or in our personal life. However, being “best” should not take away the “good” in us. In life, the more meaningful end is to be “great”. And in this article, I intend to share that “greatness” is being the “best” yet remaining to be “good”.
This is a time to think about the decisions and choices we make. Do they lead us to greatness and not just being best? WHEN DO OUR ACTIONS TO BECOME THE BEST MAKE US GREAT?
- When the choices we make build bridges and relationships.
- When the desire to be the best, brings out the good in us.
- When the action we take to be the best, instill in us and the people around us the values and principles essential to life.
When all these come into the scenario…i say BEST is already GREATNESS.
“Greatness is to be the best and still remain good”.
